Currently group director finance, overseeing the finance functions – determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems/ policies & procedures for internal financial control. Venu Krishnan retired as the Deputy Managing Director of Hotel Leelaventure Ltd., on 31.7.2014 which owns and operates a chain of Luxury Hotels in India. The Company is a Listed Company. Mr. Venu Krishnan is also a Director in all of the group companies. The group apart from Hotels is also involved in Real Estate and Developing Infrastructure for IT and IT enabled services. The group is currently executing Infrastructure Projects in Kochi, Trivandrum,Mangalore,Calicut,Mumbai,Thane,Chennai and Bangalore. He was handling group’s Business strategy finance, Human Resources and Projects. Mr. Venu Krishnan joined the group in 1987 as Commercial Director. Prior to joining the Leela Group,Mr. Krishnan was General Manager of Wallace Flour Mills Ltd., Country’s largest flour milling group. He joined Wallace Flour Mills Ltd. in 1978 as a Management Trainee. Venu Krishnan was also Director of M/s. Singtel India Pvt. Ltd. as a nominee of the Leela Group. He continues to be Director in M/s. Kinfra International Apparel Parks Ltd. (A Govt. of Kerala undertaking) and for other Private Limited Companies. He has joined Carnival Group during 2015 as Board Advisor Mr. Venu Krishnan is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University.

Girish is a Real Estate Professional having 20 plus years of experience in the field of Architecture, Interior Design & Project management. Has designed and delivered projects of different categories like Residential, Commercial, IT Park, Hospitality, Retail Mall, IMAX & Multiplex across India. Has also lead in designing the Mix-use category project of high rises in. He is Adept manager skilled in successfully managing projects from design, statutory approvals & execution perspective. With an eye for detail, he has always worked with disciplined approach & believed in continuous improvement. Has taken various strategic initiatives for creating processes and successful implementation of same. He has proven record of managing design in systematic & integrated manner with various renowned organizations like Tata Housing, Kanakia Realty Spaces, Omkar Developers before Joining Carnival Group. After completing his graduation from VJTI and L.S Raheja School of Architecture, he worked with Architect Raja Aederi to kickstart career and emerged as Lead Associate with these world- renowned consultants. He persuaded his education further in Project Management & Business Management from NICMAR & Welingkar’s respectively. Has also undergone training for Green buildings USGBC LEED AP and achiever of Six Sigma certification.

Mahesh has total Experience of 14 + Years into Retail Operations and Business Development at Pan India Level. He Commenced his career at “Cinemax” (one of the leading national Multiplex Operator) for 9 years handling Cinema Operations till Business Development (Tier 2, 3 towns). He further enhanced his experience into Mall Redevelopment at New Mumbai, Vashi – “City Center Mall”, taking mall from Value Mall to Boutique Mall including amicably terminating existing Brands, buy-back of premises to make it 100% Ownership from Strat-sale Property, redesigning (with CIDCO, NMMC approvals in place) for Boutique format and leasing to premium brands of India. In “Carnival Group –Cinema Division” for Cinema Store Expansion, especially for Tier 2, 3,4 towns of India taking Retail-Plex model under Investor based Model and signed successfully 250+ Screens Across India including Metro cities. These 250+ screens include Flagship Stores, regular Stores, Budget Model and O&M Model also out of which 20+ screens were launched successfully with the team of 8 Regional Managers with him. He has been transferred recently to “Carnival Realty” Division, taking Mini Mall Concept in these Tier 2-3-4 towns Pan India Level alongwith assisting for Acquisition of Malls in Metro cities also. He has completed B. Com from Mumbai University (Thane -2002) and M.B. A. in Retail Management from I.T.M. Institute (New Mumbai -2008).

Sandeep has 28 years of diverse professional experience from Multimedia to Retail. In the last 8 years spent in retail, specifically retail real estate, he has headed the leasing of among the largest Malls of the country; RCity Mall, Ghatkopar (12 lac GLA). He has similarly headed the leasing for Rmall – Mulund & Thane (6 Lac GLA each), Treasure Island – Indore & Raipur (6 Lac GLA each), Ishanya – Pune (5 Lac GLA). Subsequently as an entrepreneur, Sandeep has researched the feasibility of Malls in Tier II/ III cities, advised on optimum sizes, zoned these properties keeping in mind the demographics and local buying behaviour, sat with architects to fine-tune these properties vis-à-vis store sizes, entry/ exit routes, column spaces and leased these spaces accordingly. He has helped in advancing the Developers mission vis-à-vis retail spaces, analysing projects, people and process with respect to profit margins, ensuring the highest quality of leasing mix, designing profitable mall management costs and event promotion programs, increasing foot- fall and conversions and overseeing all aspects of Mall Management to maximize their revenues and profitability. He has handled assets in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Ajmer to name a few. Apart from this he had also: * Worked proactively on the expansion plans of retail brands. * Led the sales and marketing effort for room aggregators, OYO Rooms, an online and app based concept, redefining how Hotel rooms will be booked in the future. Travelled extensively and helped in the launch of Kochi, Munnar, Mysore, Bangalore, Ooty, Trichy & Wayanad. * Forayed into use of AI/ Analytics to develop retail solutions that provide better consumer insights to retail brands vis-à-vis merchandising, consumer insights through a tie up with a software firm. Advised on POS & ERP solutions. Prior to the last 8 years in retail, Sandeep has a diverse 20 year professional experience, launching media start-ups and held various senior management positions in the multimedia industry. He has led large 50+ teams, keeping them engaged, in good humour, and motivated to take ownership for targets and the overall vision of the Organisation.

Prateek has a combined and diverse experience of more than 25 years in the area of Personnel & Administration, Industrial Relations, Management & Development, Liasoning, Statutory, Regulatory and Legal matters. He has worked extensively in Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and Private Sector with a comprehensive and strategic understanding of business, technical issues and organizational changes & development in the Infrastructure Project Construction and Telecom Service Provider Companies. Have been the essential link between the top ministry officials, management and employees. Before joining Carnival group Prateek has worked with large organizations like National Projects Construction Corporation and Reliance Communications. He has been instrumental in implementing various strategic management planning and decisions towards restructuring and manpower dimensioning on merger of group companies and other matters like securing pay revision package, VRS & non plan grants from the government, resolution of long pending employee grievances that has become a subject of litigation through compromise and out of court settlement and closure of Statutory and Regulatory Notices which has imparted greater efficiency and substantial cost reduction to the organizations. He is a Master of Business Administration from LNM College of Business Management, Muzaffarpur, India.

S. Ramnath is a post graduate Chemical Engineer graduated from IIT Kanpur with over 36 years post qualification experience in various managerial capacities commencing his career from Metal Box India, Bombay from 1978. Since then he has held several important senior management positions in Engineering production, quality control, projects and marketing functions in private and public sector companies. One of the core members of the team that formed Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) in 1994, held the position of its Managing Director (from 2007-14), with active role in development of infrastructure projects in new Industrial parks spread across the Kerala State and structuring of new infrastructure projects including metro, airport and industrial area development projects in various PPP formats involving assessment on predetermined technical, financial and regulatory parameters. Been a member of several policy decision bodies and director of several Government agencies including Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation. He also had participated in various international programmes and represented Government of Kerala in various national and international meets in promoting Kerala as an investment destination. He has been a Director in a number of Companies and Special Purpose Companies (SPVs) formed for development of infrastructure and instrumental in formation and implementation of joint venture projects with both private, public sector companies and commodity boards for large infrastructure projects in power distribution, transportation, and area development etc. He was the managing Director of Kerala state IT Infrastructure Ltd, a Company of Government to build IT Infrastructure in the State. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Technopark in Trivandrum.

Raj Krishnan has a career span of 39 years, of which Sales of consumer products occupies a prominent and predominant position. He had the urge in him to be Self-employed and most of the working stints were periods of Self-employment. He was actively promoting the sales of Greeting Cards to institutions and wholesalers during his college days and had also was a broker for Godrej Vanaspati for the Goa and Kerala regions. He soon after graduation joined M/s. Blow Plast as Sales officer and was looking into the Sales of their South Mumbai region. He then got into the business of manufacturing of hands prayers for pesticides. The hand sprayers were reserved for the small scale and aerosols were not permitted by the then governments. This journey of business, which would be approximately ten to twelve years, culminated in his putting up of a plant in Pondicherry. He had to exit the business, as post economic liberalisation, the product was removed from the reserve list, paving the introduction of Aerosols, making the product redundant. The business along with the plant and other products for household like brooms, toilet brushes was sold to a local party in Chennai. He then got back to Service in the latter part of nineties and joined M/s. Leela Ventures as their Commercial Manager. The commercial aspects of the projects besides, he was drawn into the projects by the foreign Consultancy firm Atkins, as he was entrusted the job of setting and completion of 66 KV substation and laying of underground cables for the project. This project was successfully completed and commissioned. Raj Krishnan while working with Leela, came to know about their sister concern Leela Scottish Lace ltd, being interested in the appointment of an additional agent to lift and procure their surplus and defective material. He in a bid to avoid conflict with their existing agent based in Bangalore, decided to set up business in Cochin Kerala. This business lost steam with the government permitting the entry of single brand retailing in the market. I then wound up the business and joined Carnival Soft Pvt Ltd in August 2014 as their Head of IT Park.

Hayyur has 18 years’ experience in planning, executing and spearheading construction projects involving method engineering/ method statement, development contract administration, resource planning, Budgeting with a flair for adopting modern construction methodologies/ techniques in compliance with quality standards. Well versed in preparation and implementation of Quality Plan as a part of Quality Management System (QMS). Possess excellent interpersonal, troubleshooting, analytical and organizational skills.

Before joining Carnival Group Hayyur has worked at various large organisations like Essel Group, Kanakia Developers, O & E Project Management and Jupiter Hospitals. He has successfully delivered 4 Million Sq. ft. of Commercial, Institutional & Hospital projects.

He is a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from GCOE Karad, India.
